My responsibility is to be the god of light, joy, purity, and innocence. 

How I am associated with plants and animals is my mother asked them all to protect me because my death would have started a lot of trouble.
One of my flaws would be that I always dreamed of my death that someone would want to kill me. The reason I dreamed that is because I knew it would never happen.
I also have super-human strength and super-human stamina.
I grew up in Asgard with my parents.
At first I started out as Thor's friend but once revealed that we shared the same father we figured out we are half brothers. One of my enemies is Loki who had killed me with a piece of Mistletoe.

I am Baldur or also Baldr and Balder. I am the god of light, of spring and of peace. I am in Norse mythology. According to others ( which I do not disagree) I am very handsome and fair and I have white hair.I am very kind and light.
My father was Odin and my mother Frigg. I have Numerous brothers such as Thor, Vali, and  Hod. My wifes name is Nanna and I had a son named Forseti.
An interesting thing about me is my mother cared so much for me she made sure that I could never be injured by asking all the objects and people and animals in the world to not hurt me. In fact at banquets the guests used to find it amusing to throw sharp objects at me and they thought it was hilarious that I did not die. One thing she forgot to ask is mistletoe. So yes my weakness is mistletoe and that is what killed me in the end.
